The background is a patterned cardstock I receved in a swap and the saying is a sticky note I got in a swap as well. I had kept it because I found it nice and now, I got my chance to use it! I just collaged a tag with text and inked it to finish.
Background is sponged acrylic paints with some drywall tape and a little more of the recycled waxed paper from the other day. Waste not, want not! Images are from collage packs I bought at my favorite scrapbook store (check out my other blog if you are interested).
Background is masking tape inked in light colors. I also recycled a piece of waxed paper I used to alcohol ink some Peel Off's stickers, as I thought the mask effect was too pretty to throw away. Finally, I added a couple of those Peel Off's. Hope you like it.
To start off, I would like to thank those of you who take the time to comment. It is much appreciated! I guess I have given myself a goal to make ATC's with sayings and quotes for this project, so I keep trying to find good ones and I like to know what you all think! BTW, if you have any good ones, I would be delighted to receive them... After all, there are 365 days to cover!
Here is today's card. Once again, it's a quote I got on the show Being Erica (my husband calls me TV addict!)
I got the quote from the show "Being Erica", which I recently discovered. It's about this young woman who gets a chance to relive certain events in her life as a means to make different choices and ultimately change her current life, through a peculiar kind of "therapy" involving time travel. I really enjoy it. If you want to take a look, you can watch full episodes here.
I don't know about you, but I'm sure trying to put as much life as possible in my years!
Background is semi-glossy cardstock "swished" in Glimmer Mists with a stamped decorative corners. Postage bits are stickers and the cameo is a recycled button rescued from Grandma's tin boxes. I also added a bit of drywall mesh, which is one of my favorite supplies. Very versatile and I read somewhere that it's even acid-free!
The background is Distress Inks on white cardstock. I drew a head on tissue paper and glued it to the background, thus ensuring we can still see the background color. I then printed a brain clipart I found on the web and adhered it with foam dots for dimension. A quote and some doodling and there you go!
Background is alcohol inks on glossy paper. I recycled the flowers out of a small catalogue I got in the mail and the butterflies are from collage sheets. I then simply inked the edges and traced the outlines with marker and added a quote. Maybe I'll continue with the quotes, I sure have a big enough collection to keep me going for a while!
I am just inaugurating this new year with a new blog, to share my scrapbooking and ATC's with you. I have a main blog in French here, if you care to take a look. If there is anything over there you would like me to elaborate on in English on this blog, by all means, please leave me a comment to let me know. It's always a pleasure to share my artsy experiments and to get feedback.
Earlier today, I came across an intresting project: 365 ATC's for 2010. Even though I am already hosting a 52 week long project for this year, I figured it would be fun to try and participate in that one as well. So I will be jumping in and coming back later with my first participation. Hope you join in too and enjoy.
